OK 61.81

OK 61.81 is a rutile Nb-stabilized MMA-electrode for welding Nb- or Ti-stabilized stainless steel of the 19Cr10Ni-type. It has very good resistance against intergranular corrosion. The rather high ferrite content provides a good hot cracking resistance. It has a better hot cracking resistance compared with OK 61.80. Ferrite may transform to brittle phases at elevated temperatures. To avoid excessive embrittlement of the welds the maximum working temperature is limited to 400°C.
